Google Workshop

JCU Brisbane student Pearl Bayarsaikhan (Master of International Tourism & Hospitality Management) attended the Grow with Google Workshop on Monday, 1st of April.

Grow with Google is a free training event held globally where members of the public, teachers, students and business owners can come and learn new skills to develop their career and business.

For this event, Pearl attended two sessions called ‘Getting Started with Search Engine Marketing’ and ‘Leveraging the Power of Analytics’.

Pearl said, “I am so grateful to have had this opportunity because I learnt many digital skills, social media techniques, some new trend possibilities that I can now implement into my search engine marketing plan for my business and even my university research project.”

This is another prime example of our students seizing the opportunities made available to them outside of the classroom and implementing their new-found knowledge into their own business ventures and academic studies.
