If you don’t meet the official entry requirements for programs delivered at JCU Brisbane, don’t be discouraged. There are alternative pathways you can choose to reach your goals.
Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP)
The Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP) – Business is an academic semester program designed for students whose academic qualifications are marginally below the standard entry requirements.
Upon successful completion of the PQP, students are eligible for entry to a selection of JCU’s postgraduate coursework degrees in the College of Business, Law and Governance (CBLG) at JCU Brisbane.
JCU Brisbane partners with Russo Business School to provide students with an alternative pathway to success.
Russo Business School offers a Diploma of Business. Successful completion of this program provides entry into the second year of a Bachelor of Business.
Sarina Russo Institute English Language School provides a pathway into JCU Brisbane for students who do not meet the English language entry requirements. Students have the option to complete one of three English Language programs, this will provide a period of English Language classes to improve English proficiency and end with an offer for a JCU degree program. Committed teaching staff will provide comprehensive support to ensure students are well prepared for university study.
Sarina Russo Institute is located in the same building as the university and students will have access to the same services as JCU Brisbane students. This approach ensures a seamless transition into university.
