At JCU Brisbane, we are committed to enhancing our relations with tertiary institutions in Hubei, China, thereby creating a greater Hubei-Queensland bilateral education success. To solidify this commitment, Ms Newcombe signed a letter of introduction with several leading Hubei university delegates including Mr Wu Jianqing (President of Hubei Minzu University) and Mr Ma Liejun (Vice President of Hubei Normal University). Ms Newcombe also met with the Hubei University of Chinese Medicine where she signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

After these signings, JCU Brisbane student representative, Ms Wu then took to the stage where she spoke about why she chose to study at JCU Brisbane, her experience thus far and the opportunities she has had made available to her.

We hope that through attending educational forums like this, students and families can gain a valuable insight into the tertiary opportunities made available and that our newfound relationships will lead to a greater Hubei-Queensland bilateral education success.
