Self-Enrolment Information

The steps to enrol are the same for each study period. You must check your Recommended Study Plan, use Subject Search to view availability and pre-requisites, consult the timetable, choose your subjects and then enrol online.

Online enrolment opens in Week 8 and closes the day before lectures commence. It is important to enrol as early as possible to secure your enrolment and confirm your place in the class. You are expected to attend classes from Week 1 and attendance will be monitored throughout the duration of your studies. Be mindful of tuition fee payment dates.

For clear instructions on how to enrol in your subjects, please watch this Enrol in Your Subjects video:

Use your Recommended Study Plan as a guide when choosing your subjects – it gives you a blueprint of what subjects you need to do in order to complete your degree.

Most degrees will have a combination of both core and elective subjects. If your degree allows you to choose an elective subject, you can browse all JCU subjects on Subject Search.

View your Subject Timetable for the relevant Study Period, checking to see there are no clashes of class times.

Log-in to eStudent.

Go to the My Study Plans tab, then on the side menu select Study Plans.

A yellow alert may appear and will guide you through updating and confirming your details. Once all of your details have been confirmed you will be able to proceed to enrol in your subjects.

Once you have enrolled, check your enrolment is correct by selecting Current Enrolment. You can now view your tuition fees in My Finances.

If you have any questions about your enrolment, please contact Student Services or visit us on ground floor.
