Work-Study Options
Our Work-Study Options is a free employment assistance service for all students seeking part-time work or graduate employment. JCU Brisbane currently works in conjunction with Sarina Russo Job Access, one of Australia largest employment agencies, to provide this free service to students. Our aim is to enable students to be immersed in both the Australian culture and work environment. Students who do not hold the relevant experience or background may be able to enrol in free hospitality short courses.

Individual Appointments
Individual appointment times are available to students who would like to register with the Work-Study Options service, and to discuss specifics in relation to employment. Please complete an online form for the relevant consultant, each consultant is available on different days and specialises in specific areas so please complete the form for the relevant person.
Please Note:
- Individual appointments are 20 minutes.
- Students should arrive 10 minutes prior to the appointment time to complete registration paperwork.
- If a student is late, the appointment will either be cut short or cancelled.
- We cannot guarantee that the appointment time you select will be available, however a consultant will confirm this with you once you submit your appointment request.
- We suggest that you provide at least 3 days notice of your appointment request.
- Appointments can only be requested via the online forms below.
- You will be required to attach your resume.
- To make the most of your 20 minute appointment, we suggest that you come prepared and that you make the most of the O-Week work-preparation session and the resume, cover letter, interviewing & job searching resources that can be found on this website.
* All appointment will be located on Level 7, 349 Queen Street, Brisbane.
