The following is a guide to James Cook University Brisbane's minimum academic and english language entry requirements. These are in line with those adhered to for the same courses at the main JCU campus in Townsville.
- Undergraduate - Entry Requirements
The following is a guide to JCU's minimum academic entry requirements for the Bachelor of Business degree. Some specialist degrees offered at other JCU campuses require a higher level for entry.
- Postgraduate - Entry Requirements
The minimum entry level requirement for a postgraduate coursework degree at JCUB is successful completion of study equivalent to an Australian undergraduate Bachelor award. For details on specific entry requirements, please contact the JCUB Admissions Office. |
- English Language Requirements
Students whose native language is not English must generally demonstrate their proficiency by achieving a score in a test such as IELTS or TOEFL. Other English Language tests include the Combined Universities Language Test (CULT) and the Cambridge English Language Test, may be accepted as proof of English language proficiency.

Students who fall short of the official JCUB entry requirements have several entry pathways available to them. Sarina Russo Schools Australia (SRSA) provides Diploma and English Language programs to assist international students to attain the entry requirements for some JCU degrees. |
