JCU Brisbane provides $1000 'High Distinction' Bursaries
International student Neeraj Kumar has received a High Distinction bursary and Certificate of Achievement from the Campus Dean Professor Bill Lavery. Neeraj is studying the MBA/MIT and is a JCUB international High Distinction bursary recipient. Each High Distinction (85% end of trimester result) awarded to an international student carries with it an automatic $1000 bursary which offsets the cost of tuition fees in the following trimester.
The bursaries help to reduce the total cost of courses for hard working, high achieving students. “I love studying with JCUB, such helpful lecturers, with small classes and great facilities …. and all in the heart of the CBD,” said Neeraj, "they even helped find me a job in the building right next door - with Australia’s major telecommunications company!” JCU Brisbane is proud of the academic achievements of our students, in most undergraduate and postgraduate subjects, a 100% pass rate is currently being achieved.
Our small class guarantee (tutorials of less than 24 students and lectures of less than 70 students), combined with dedicated industry experienced teachers, assists our students to learn more efficiently. Special free workshops teach the core study skills required at Australian universities and western assignment writing techniques. Small groups (typically 5 students) learn how to structure and write assignments and tests in English.
