The Master of International Tourism & Hospitality Management - Master of Business Administration is an innovative dual master level qualification that combines tourism, hospitality and business management to give students the management skills required to be a tourism & hospitality industry professional.

This course provides a concentrated and sophisticated mix of tourism, hospitality and business management subjects, providing core knowledge for managerial careers in the tourism & hospitality industries, plus electives to tailor the managerial expertise to particular requirements.

Internship Option
In the final trimester, high performing students, subject to meeting performance criteria, may choose to take up an Industry Internship as an alternative to a full course subject.

  • Develops abilities to investigate, analyse, evaluate and provide recommendations
  • Career-related experience informs career field choice.
English Language Entry Requirements
You must provide evidence of English proficiency if English is not your first language.   
  • IELTS: A minimum overall score of 6.0, with a minimum score of at least 5.5 in each component
  • TOEFL: A minimum score of 550, with a Test of Written English score of at least 4.0; or a computer-based score of 213 with an essay rating of at least 4.0; or an internet-based score of 79 with a minimum writing score of 19.
  • Alternative pathways that provide evidence of equivalent levels of English
Results must be less than two years old at the time of application.

Academic Entry Qualifications

An undergraduate degree in any discipline or other qualifications deemed equivalent; or evidence of professional experience that meets the approval of the Head of School or Faculty.

Advanced Standing Credit

JCUB recognises advanced standing credit for equivalent studies at an equivalent level from Australian or overseas universities.  The credit is determined after receipt of application.
