The Master of Business Administration continues to be recognised as the premier management and business administration qualification. 

The Accounting & Finance major suits managers requiring financial management skills using modern industry standard accounting accounting practices.

The degree has global currency and provides its holders with a distinct advantage in both national and international labour markets.

A Graduate Certificate and a Graduate Diploma of Business Administration are available to students seeking shorter courses in business administration, or for those who wish to progress to an MBA incrementally.

Internship Option

In the final trimester, students may choose to take up the Industry Internship as an alternative to a classroom based subject.

English Language Entry Requirements

You must provide evidence of English proficiency if English is not your first language.
  • IELTS: A minimum overall score of 6.0, with a minimum score of at least 5.5 in each component.
  • TOEFL:  A minimum score of 550, with a Test of Written English score of at least 4.0; or a computer-based score of 213 with an essay rating of at least 4.0; or an internet-based score of 79 with a minimum writing score of 19.
  • Alternative pathways that provide evidence of equivalent levels of English
  • Results must be less than two years old at the time of application.
Academic Entry Qualifications

An undergraduate degree in any discipline or other qualifications deemed equivalent; or evidence of professional experience that meets the approval of the Head of School or Faculty. Qualifications deemed not quite equal to an Australian degree may give entry to Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP) and then to MBA.

Advanced Standing Credit

JCUB recognises advanced standing credit for equivalent studies at an equivalent level from Australian or overseas universities.  The credit is determined after receipt of application.

Subjects successfully completed for the Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma of Business Administration can be credited towards the Master of Business Administration.
