Congratulations to our Brisbane City Council Interns

While completing their master's degree , JCU Brisbane students are bringing a fresh perspective to the Brisbane City Council (BCC).

Through their desire to learn, our students have been placed in various internship roles where they work on projects in administration, information technology and human resources.

In these roles, the Brisbane City Council offers JCU Brisbane students the opportunity to develop new skills, sharpen the skills they already possess, as well as gain new insight and knowledge.

Throughout the BCC internship program students develop awareness and understanding of the work culture in Australia. This helps our students develop positive work attitudes and gain valuable experience necessary for job success. Furthermore, it is clear that this practical experience assists in the development of confidence whilst enhancing the students ability and interest in their field of study.

Besides new knowledge, skills and social experience, students walk away with tangible evidence on how their efforts have contributed to the organisation.
