English Language Entry Requirements
Students whose native language is not English must generally demonstrate their proficiency by achieving a score in a test such as Academic IELTS or TOEFL. Other English language tests may also be accepted as proof of English language proficiency.
Students who successfully completed two years full-time study in which the language of instruction was English may satisfy the English requirement To be considered, the study must have been undertaken no mre than two years prior to the date of offer of a place at JCU.

BRIDGING ENGLISH ENTRY PROGRAM
If you meet the academic entry requiremnts for a degree but not the English language entry requirements, students can enrol in the Bridging English Entry Program (BEEP) at Unipath Colleges Australia and attain a packaged offer between the college and JCU Brisbane.
This packaged offer consists of a period of Academic English language studies and will allow you to receive a student visa for the entire duration of your studies. The length of the English study period will depend on your English language level at the time of application (as determined by an IELTS score or equivalent) and the English requirement for your chosen course.
BEEP is designed to provide you with the necessary English language skills needed to study at JCU Brisbane. Upon successful completion of this program, you are able to enter your chosen degree at JCU Brisbane directly without the need to retake an English language proficiency test such as IELTS.
