JCU Brisbane has a
- comprehensive accommodation program. We have an extensive range of accommodation alternatives, many of which can be confirmed prior to arrival. Students using the accommodation placement service will be charged an application fee of $A220. Many students find that living with an Australian host family is the most effective way of getting to know Australia and our lifestyle. Students can choose to live with an Australian family, couple or single individual. Host families are carefully chosen to ensure that students are placed in a secure and friendly environment where they are made to feel comfortable.

Homestay
Students can choose to live with an Australian family, couple or
single individual. Homestay hosts are carefully chosen to ensure
that students are placed in a secure and friendly environment. All
students are provided with their own single room with a comfortable
bed, desk, chair and wardrobe. The families that participate in our
accommodation program live close to a bus stop or train station and
are approximately 20 to 30 minutes' travelling time to the campus.
Students are provided with breakfast and dinner during the week
and, on the weekend they are supplied with three meals a day. Students pay for their own phone calls and we
suggest buying an international phone card to make international
calls. If for any reason, a student is unhappy with the
family they have been allocated to, we will transfer them to
another family at no extra cost.
Rental Accommodation
Rental accommodation is the preferred option for many students. You need to expect to pay from $A150* per week, and share household expenses with your flatmates (eg. water, electricity etc)

Uni Lodge
Uni Lodge offers students 320 self-contained and fully furnished
apartments. The majority of the apartments are suitable for one
person, with some corner suites able to accommodate two people.
This self-catering accommodation is situated in the centre of
Brisbane.
Southbank Campus
Apartments The South Bank Campus Apartments is a
complex of 75 fully furnished apartments spread over six levels.
There is a range of single, two or three bedroom apartments
available. Students can rent out an entire apartment or share an
apartment with other students. This accommodation is located
approximately one bus zone from the heart of the city.
Airport Reception Students can also opt for an Airport Reception Service upon arrival in Brisbane. A friendly driver will welcome the student at Brisbane International Airport and escort him/her to the pre-booked destination. Airport pick up fee start from $A110*.
