    Research Interests

    Machine learning, combinatorial optimization, and risk management.  Current research projects look at Bayesian ensembles of neural networks for improved control in noisy environments, with applications to financial markets and flood management.  The large computational requirements for this approach comes from farming idle CPU time at night and on weekends.

    Educational Interests

    Data mining, statistics, data management, and applied mathematics.
